Life sure was tough for those who lived in 'long houses'. The furniture and set-up of the 'home' was superb, and really gave an idea of life... followed up by a brilliant video. Even if you don't speak French, it's easy to get an idea of how families lived and worked 'back in the olden days'. I'd prefer the birds, and rabbits to have larger huts - the cows and horses are taken away, but the smaller animals' living quarters, although clean, are very cramped.

Really interesting to see how rural people lived. We live in a farmhouse, and our neighbours remember the conditions shown to visitors at La Ferme. Very well done, and deffo worth a visit.

We went with our 2 children - 11months & 2yrs old. Not huge amounts of animals but those they have you can touch, pet and interact with - sheep, goats, pigs, donkeys, horses & rabbits. Very interesting farm buildings / houses / gardens. We spent a lovely morning pottering here. It was a very relaxed easy holiday morning. My only feedback would be absolutely perfect if they had a tea room / coffee places. They had about 3 or 4 picnic tables though.
