We were aware of and expected a high pressure sales pitch but we were able to resist buying anything big. The glass blowing demonstration was interesting and a tour of the glass works was interesting. The pieces are very expensive but are well-made and beautiful....More

I am glad this stop was on our tour because it was very enjoyable to see glass being blown. Also you can step thru the many showrooms to see their products. We purchased a beautiful angel Christmas ornament there for about 18 euro.

When our hotel offered us a free water taxi ride to Murano, I guessed that it would be paid for by one of the glass producers there and I was right, the water taxi was paid for by this company. However, I knew that I...More

My wife and I visited this gallery during our trip to Venice. We wanted to buy a piece of Murano glass for our new home. We found out that approximately 50% of all glass sold in Venice that is marketed as Murano glass is actually...More

The Murano glass is very nice and the island was easy to access with the help of our hotel. I believe many hotels have arrangements with Bisanzio Gallery for a free ride in hopes you will buy some pieces. That is fine with me, the...More
