This is one of popular beach in Jayapura attractions. When i got there maybe not in a weekend so no many people been there. There is a shops and chairs to seat for lay the time goes by. Good place for family vacations i think.

I think, hamadi beach is the best place for family with kids to spendtime and hang out together. Near by downtown Jayapura, appx.15 minutes and the beach have a "wall" to stop wave from ocean, and then very secure for kids.

Visit Hamadi beach during day time, not early in the morning or when sun down, cause they will be many local men who will go there for drinking alcohol, so becareful
