"Trekking for the school and helping local communities" We are a unique trekking experience that aims to protect the biodiversity of the rainforest whilst supporting the local community. By trekking with us you will directly benefit the local village and to provide free education and key skills. The program is now focusing "Learning Center" (our new school) of "we care program - Bukit lawang" run by a dedicated team of local teachers. Our aim is to teach children in the local community English, key skills and about the environment, conservation jungle with priority given to orphans and the poorer children in the villages. Our experience with Adi was fantastic, starting from contacts via WhatsApp months before our arrival with great availability on his part in providing for all our needs. Bukit Lawang is an adorable little riverside village. We stayed the first night in a small, very basic Homestay. The next day we left for our two-day trek with Cici and Kohar, our special jungle guides. The experience was FANTASTIC throughout. The friendliness and kindness of the guides was out of the ordinary. They bent over backwards to let us see as many animals as possible, they brought us delicious fruit and an excellent lunch, and they were pleasant company, becoming in all respects our jungle family. At the end of the day, swimming in the river is magical. The cabanas where we slept in the heart of the jungle are a magical place. Dinner and magic games by candlelight and immersed in the sounds of the jungle. It ends in style with a panoramic rafting to return to the village the following day. Thank you for everything, you have certainly exceeded our expectations and if we were to return to Bukit Lawang we couldn't help but find your smiles, your good humor and your big heart. We will keep an indelible memory of the wonderful people you are. The Italians love you.

Amazing experience with Adi and his team! I did the two day one night jungle trek and it was by far the best experience I have had so far in south east Asia. We were met at the airport with a driver and arrived to Adi’s sisters house. The accommodation was decent and the Adi’s family was incredibly welcoming and hospitable, offering tea upon arrival. The next day, we met our Jungle guide Cici and spent the entire day searching for wildlife in the jungle. We found 7 orangutans, many monkeys, a Komodo dragon, a peacock, and more. Cici was a fantastic local guide with many stories. I always felt safe. We spent the night in the treehouse, woke up the next morning, explore some more of the jungle and then returned to Bukit Lawang via a unique rafting experience. We returned to Bukit Lawang and Adi offered to give us a tour of his rice fields and the local market. Overall, an amazing “authentic experience.” I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Indonesia with an adventurous spirit. I would also recommend staying for an extra day in Bukit Lawang to explore the local community. Adi also runs a school to teach English to local children and he is always looking for volunteers.

Just to add to my previous review, I'd like to add that the accommodation is clearly designed by a fellow traveller. So few hotels, hostels or guest houses have such a plethora of hooks, shelves and rails. No more 'where can we hang the towels?' or lining 'stuff' up on the floor. Even the 'feature' In the bathroom is a series of shelves. This is true for the large and the smaller rooms. What seems like a little thing is very much appreciated by those of us 'on the road'!

We went for the 2 day Jungle Trecking and it was really amazing. Everything was organized well, from the Pickup at the Airport, to the stay in the guesthouse where we have been hosted from a super nice familie, to the Trecking. We Had two really Nice days with a Lot of great experiences in the jungle, mikki the guide was tailoring the tracking to us so we where getting out the most of the two days. Everyone was super friendly and accomodating.
We have seen 5 Out of 7 monkey/ape spezies 🫶🏼 and a lot of amazing animals and plants.
What we highly appreciated was, that our tour Guides try the best to make the Trip as Environment friendly as it could be. They don't feed the animals and are respectful with the nature.
Again thx a lot for this amazing experience and we whish you all the best for the future 🤙🏼

We did the 3 days - 2 nights jungle trekking and was simply amazing! Edi and the guides (bob and Michael) were always kind, friendly and eager to help me in everything, the food was delicious and the adventure in the jungle and knowledge of the guides was remarkable. We saw orangutans and different species of monkeys the three days of the tour! Thanks for everything !

Adi organised everything from transport to our stay at the guesthouse
Our guides Mikhael and ‘Papa Jungle’ really made our experience incredible, not to mention Adi’s wife’s cooking!! We never even got the chance to get hungry and the food was delicious. we saw 8 orangutans in 2 days and lots of other wildlife. Would recommend 100%, thank you to the whole team :)

Through friends we came across Adi seib Team. We had a great time with Malik our guide and son of Adi.
Everything is super family designed.
The food was always fresh and delicious, thanks to Adi's wife at the point 😁
The experience in the jungle is unique, we were lucky and could see many orangutans 🦧, but also different gibbons and even a toucan 😁👌
From airport pickup to accommodation in the jungle, everything was just right. However, if you expect 5 stars luxury here will be disappointed, here is only "the real jungle experience baby 😜"
If we ever come back then we only book with Adi, it is a memory that stays forever in our hearts and memories 🦧❤️

I would love to go trekking in this national park but don't want to see elephants bath or feed/touch any animnal... like many guides advertise (and many tourists love!)...
Is there a possibility to book in advance with the national parks rangers or do we just have to try our luck and go to the visitor's center?

We are dedicated to developing our new school to assist in educating the children from the villages of Bukit Lawang through English lessons, environmental education and practical skills classes.
As we are only able to run this program through donations we hope that you will trek with us to directly benefit the local children.
From our jungle treks and activities will go to support the school. Donations will go towards various educational material, the urgently needed school uniform and books and other school supplies.
