It's a nice cave to visit when you are around. We went to Bukit Lawang to do a 3D2N jungle trek in Gunung Leuser National Park. Our tour operator (local-guides, they have a webpage) were absolutely amazing. Everything about the trek was fantastic, and upon...More

The Bat Cave is actually a series of 3 caves, which are accessed via a pleasant walk through forest and fields. You need a guide, however, as it would be easy to get lost in the system. Wear appropriate shoes, as you will not walk...More

Didnt see any bats. To reach the cave entrance is easy but then after you pay it becomes slipery and dangerous. If you fall you can be in serious trouble.
