Don't miss when in Gränna! The story of a massive failure of male egos! There are things for smaller children, but if you really want to enjoy the full experience of the museum make sure to have some extra time.

After listening to the 'summertalk' of Bea Uusma and also reading her book, we decided to visit the museum of the expedition. It was really impressive to see all the artefacts that are still intact after 120 years. Still, this expedition contains so many mysteries...More

The arctic museum's main focus is the story of Andre's ill-fated attempt to reach the north pole. The remains of the expedition were discovered and brought back, and because of the arctic environment are very well preserved.

This museum is well thought out and has a ton of local history. You should set aside 2 to 3 hours, but the stroll through this attraction will enhance your Swedish experience.

It's probably a proud gem for those living here, but for the youngest in our family (three years old), there wasn't much to interact with and the best part was free outside.

Big focus on a group of young adventurers who set out to map the Arctic regions by balloon but sadly perished in the process.
