It's a nice place for an outing. There are several Shiva lingas here. There is also a museum showcasing statues of various Gods & Goddesses.

This is a temple complex dating back to the 9th and 10th centuries C.E. Worship here is easy as the priests are friendly and efficient. The archaeology museum next to the site houses a museum containing some of the statues found there.

Even if you are not religiously inclined, I would still recommend visiting this place. Not many people are aware that this site is marked by Archaeological Sites of India. This site is 9th century old, the temple structures etc will give you that idea. There...More

Om Namah Shivaay. Group of ancient temples in the middle of lush green forest in the mountain area. A little crowded as it is a famous pilgrimage site.

Set by a stream, nestling between age old trees, a beautiful temple. No crowds, no beggars, no one hounding us for money. A temple worth visiting for a silent prayer & to just spend quiet time sitting and soaking it in

Yes there are, government operated KMVN, 3-5 minutes walk from the temple entrance. Various other private run as well.

probably should. I went in July and that time weather was very pleasant. I think it should b snowing this time of the year.
