the drive up to kasar devi is also beautiful so is the temple and the walk up to it and the mountains around it. it all adds up to a most memorable experience.

this in like on top of a rift, so you have splendid views on both sides and if you go behind the temple it becomes alomst a 360 degree view... its most amazing. so beautiful and serene and calming. must go.

There is nothing here. We were told that the views are amazing from here but smoke from forest fire around made it impossible to have any views.

This is a temple situated at a height with steep slope. If you are not into trekking you would not like the walking part to the temple. The temple is really peaceful.. and calming.

Nice place to spend the evening and watch sunsets. A short-climb up through a cemented path. Was windy on the May evening we visited. A visit recommended.

It’s a 20-30 minutes trek towards the temple. There are two temples. This place became famous since Swami Vivekananda meditated here. The view from the top is simply amazing.

A spiritual place where Vivekananda meditated and also a few Danish scholars. Its a hike of approx 500 feet so slightly tough. But the view and flow of air is breathtaking. Spend a few quiet moments there and pray to the Gods. Many Hippies visit...More
