The museum has done a great job to preserve the honours won by the Kumaon regiment. It does full justice to the bravery of its soldiers & the invaluable sacrifices.

It is inside the military area. Mark your entry at the gate. Vehicles can be taken till the museum gate. Parking is walking distance. Photography inside the museum is strictly prohibited.

Glorifying history of Kumaon Regiment is exhibited here. Ranikhet is head quarter of Kumaon & Naga Regiment. All wars including world war-I & II history is exhibited, quite informative and pump up patriotism inside you.

Went as a guest. Well maintained. Pride of the Regiment. Well maintained. History and footnotes biased to glorify the martyrs and make the history more colourful. Avoid going with kids. Requires patience. Recheck your facts. Interesting folklores. Worth a visit.

This regimental museum is a must watch at Ranikhet. It's very well kept displaying exhibits from 17th/18th century pertaining to the Kumaon regiment. There is entry fees of Rs 50. Mobile phones are not allowed inside as photography is prohibited inside the museum.
