It's my 3rd visit to Paguriran. There were five of us on that trip. We travelled from Legazpi to Sorsogon via car service. Btw, it's ideal to travel via own or rent a car. I hardly spotted jeepneys or other public vehicles in the area. Cottages and rooms for overnight stay are available. Pictures are all instagram worthy plus Mount Mayon can be seen from the coast. Since a lagoon is situated in the middle, water is at its lowest level (knee high) during low tides. You can fully swim at the lagoon and the back of it. Resort staff are all accommodating and stores (small sari sari) are available.

Hi i must say the beach, lagoon and island brings you to a very relaxing view! Clear waters! Sand bar! Affordable cottages and entrance fee; the place isn’t commercialized and you better visit while it is still way cheaper than other white sand beaches here in Sorsogon.
Here are some of the expenses and tips:
- Walk in trips are welcome
- 5 pesos entrance fee
(10cents in USD? If im correct)
Parking yes (sand ground cover)
Cottages:
Open type with dining table and benches made up of bamboo and nipa huts are also available
We stayed in a 10 pax open cottage and paid
Php300.00 pesos
Treehouse but not like the tree house in other countries -
Rooms with air conditioning and bathroom
1 double bed for 2 pax
Costs 1,200 pesos or +/-22USD overnight
2 double beds Costs 2,400 pesos or +/-45 USD or you may haggle depending on the time stay
FOOD
THey have a store which sells basic needs and food
They also sell Halo halo
Features:
Boat ride to the lagoon 1-2 mins away
If it is low tide you can go to the lagoon by crossing the sand bar
If high tide by boat php300 pesos
But I know u can haggle with the prices
:)
Friendly lokals
Enjoy the photos!!!!

When visited this palce during our Bicol travel. To visit this place, you nwed travel from Legazpi to Sorsogon City for 1.5 hours by van. From sorsogon you need tonride a Jeepney (1.5 hours) going to Barangay Sawanga. Just tell the driver to drop you at Paguriran Island resort. Entrance is only 5 pesos. Cottages 200 for open, 500 for room with CR, and 700-800 for second floor room. You need to go there by morning during low tide. It has 100 meters of sand bar going to the island lagoon. The place is not that crowded.

Paguriran island is like a gem in the middle of the sea. It can be accessed by wading during the low tides. Some prefer to swim towards it while others prefer to take a boat ride.Inside the island is a lagoon. The more adventurous dive from the cliffs above. The place can get crowded though during weekends so to avoid them, plan your trips on weekdays.

You don't need a boat to reach this lagoon. Just cross the resort while watching Mayon from afar. The water is clean. Just a tip to wear aqua shoes or trekking sandals especially if you will climb the sock stones for a top view. Entrance fee is P5 per pax.

We were the only visitors when we arrived. It was high tide so we were not able to cross to the lagoon. We didn't know how to operate the "banca" so we just stayed at the picnic area and ordered lunch.. There were hammocks all over the place so we just strolled on the beach and then laid in the hammocks. Overall we had a lazy and restful day!

A group of us went there with great expectations. What a
HUGE disappointment! If you like wall to wall people, Kareoke huts right next to each other blasting away, garbage all over the place...then THIS is the place for you!

The water level is safe for kids ages 5 years old below. The Paguririgan rock formation and view is breathtaking!

stunning view of the beach, it was low tide but a bit windy but we were able to cross the beach to reach the lagoon. Bring sandals, slippers, shoes to protect your feet from the shop rocks. Too far from the city proper and I would enjoy this place if it was not too crowded and karaoke sound blaring.

We went here again in summer 2016 and I still love the place.
The lagoon is very appealing to me especially when you were on the top. The breeze, turquoise water, sharp rocks, fine sand, all of it are awesome. Moreover, Mayon volcano is still visible from the place and that's great.

Is the accommodation beach front? Where can we contact accommodation at paguriran island lagoon?
I would like to bring my family there are 9 adults and 5 children. How much is the entrance fee? And how much is the air-condition cottage for an overnight stay? How many people can it accomodate?
