Quiet, peaceful premises with stone walls having the diyas fixed in grid which are lit in the evening. Nice place to visit in an otherwise quaint region.

This temple is very much famous as one of the 108 Siva temples in Kerala. I know this place since my childhood as my father belongs to this place. This temple is known for safekeeping "ezharapponnana". There is a wonderful story about that too.
