- GSM_ukCrawley, United Kingdom285 contributionsWorth to visit for low cost budget tripAwesome! Affordable!great customer service! Informations not mentioned until asked… boat ride has three classification based of numbers as we were 8, so the boat was for 8-10. On top of boat cost you’ll pay per head. If you have an ID with address in Pangasinan then you’ll pay 55 pesos per adult head and non resident 100. 80 years old and above must be asked or physically shown to pre-assess. Snorkels and life jacket are extra cost but actually at the boat they will provide life jacket free of charge. There are activities which you can avail at main office. Tour guide will cost 1,000 pesos. However, if your lucky and the boat man is an experienced one he’ll probably explain the islands just like we had. The rest places on my pics the beauty of these gems…Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 9, 2023
- Marikrisvi SQuezon City, Philippines700 contributionsBeach BreakAgain as a beach lover, our feet is very itchy to go to a beach. Long land drive going here, our favorite is to see the Hundred Islands. There is an Island with birds eye view of all the islands. Where you will walk the stairs for a while you should bring your own water bottles. Because its quite a trek, but all worth it.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten March 20, 2024

But they’ll want to charge you for everything, nothing comes included in any price of the tickets. Bangkeros are not friendly we paid already in the city hall and they will ask you additional for the goggles. They will also ask you to pay additional for the boat if you want them to stay with you the whole day. Also, the places are too crowded specially the children's island .It's not safe for the kids to swim because the beach is too rocky. Going back to bangkero, we were not able to do island hopping in other islands because he seemed a bit intimidating. He wants us to pay additional which is illegal because we already paid in the city hall.

It was an unexpected plan with my family to visit Hundred Islands located in Pangasinan. I rented 2 boats coz we were 17persons (with 3 under 5y/o along with us)...everyone was excited to see the beauty of each island....
It was amazing adventure! But what make it disgusting was, people who manage each island. Washroom was gross! You have to fetch water outside the washroom. The pipe from the washroom's toilet(bowls maybe) and their mini kitchen sink lying throughout the sea where people doing their snorkeling and swimming. My family arrived at Quezon Island and some of us seated at their chairs(mini canteen), then of their staff came we are not allowed to sit. Why? Is the island privately owned? They should improve the way they entertain tourists or guests on each island. Hundred Islands is one of the most visited spot in the Philippines but i think it was neglected. From my point of view, something smells fishy(scammers????)

Because of my moms boss we had a chance to see how beautiful this place is and we never regret the experience. Local food is 100% good plus the tourist guides are very patient. Each island has a different experience that make us enjoy the place, plus its really an instagramable place because of the blue sky and clear sea water. 1night is not enough to explore hundred Islands and I wish that soon I would bring my mom here again along with the rest of my family.

I booked a hotel close by the ocean. Alaminos the main town has nothing to offer, we got a direct bus from Baguio.
100 islands is the only tourist offering in the area, it is great but maybe some locals can open a nature park, rainforest area.
2 nights is enough, only way around is by tricycle and if you are 6 foot plus it can be uncomfortable.

The place is well organized with a lot of boats available. We rented out the 10pax boat for 1800php.
We didn't do the full tourist tour so I cannot comment on this, we went for snorkeling.
The boatman took us to the "best snorkeling spot" which is pretty much the farthest islands on the map. The waves were strong and my wife stayed for about 3 minutes before she had enough.
I explored the area for a while swam from one island to the other. I would rate snorkeling 3/10. There are so many better places to snorkel than this.
This place was on my bucket list but now that I have been there I would give it a hard pass.
Park entrance fee 200php/pax, garbage bag 200php. (you can claim the garbage bag fee when you leave.)

We went here to celebrate my niece birthday. And that day, i was really amazed because it is my first time visiting that place and it is so jaw dropping. This place is good for me especially im into photography and the sound of the waves omg i missed it. And on our way there, its not that hassle because where in a private vehicle. And this place is good for family outing. And their services are good they are very accommodating and they welcome tge visitors with a smile. A recommendation for family wanted to have fun. But can i suggest that if they can put some garbage bins there so that garbages will mot be thrown anywhere to maintain the beauty of the island and its cleanliness. And restaurants nearby the island is so nice serving some fresh foods that cam satisfy our tummy.

Great day trip with lots of beautiful and quiet spots to chill. Make sure you book with a good boat / tour agency so that you can stop when you want to.
Snorkeling was fun but sadly a lot of the coral had been damaged and people were walking on it!!

Every move you take, even for the table you need to pay for it. This is a rip off, do not go here. Tourist trap! If they can charge the air, they will charge it. The toilet sucks, and expect you to pay for it. Beware of Quezon Island, if possible ask your tourist guide to skip it.

transportation to alaminos from banaue or baguio
Written October 15, 2019
If you are not sure about the place its better to rent a van or a car its almost 2-3 hour drive. Or you can tell ahead to time you tour travel agency that you are planning to go also to Alaminos, they can make arrangement with your accommodation and car.

These can normally be arranged by the accommodation or at the boat booking office for you. You can book a boat for the day to take you island hopping if wanted.

hi! i would like ask a question. Fiance and I are planning to have our prenup photoshoot in Hundred Islands. Is there any permits needed for photoshoot or requirements needed to be done? It’s 6hrs drive from our hometown and we are planning to go there next week to see the location. I just want to know the details so I could prepare in case we need to submit anything. Hope someone replies 😊 Thank you 😊

Hundred islands is animal friendly, but I don't think it's advisable for you to bring pets because you gotta transfer to many islands if you want to see other nice spots.
