There is the elevation of the road much higher so that the high tide can not flood the roadside if not made higher. The effect is breathtaking and the best for photography. This is why most tourists will not miss this spot.

Found this zigzag bridge between mountain and sea. Breathing a very fresh air and unto the end of it found a small hydro electric plant with very fresh and clean stream water.

It's a must to see this highway connecting Ilocos and Cagayan. It's a man made marvel of building a road at the edge of the mountain. The view is stunning.

Driving through the Patapat bridge is simply enchanting what with the lush and vivid green of the mountain and the calming blue of sky and sea as if the world has been reborn again
