Our second stop on Day 2 was Paraiso ni Anton. We didn't expect to see it by the roadside. Plus, it's good for taking photos and enjoying the cold water from the spring. We heard that it's miraculous too, so Mom saved some of the water to drink.

My title says it all. There is nothing to see here except for the spring. You can climb to the Grotto and that's about it. We really don't know who this Anton is but locals said he was a faith healer of some sort who cured people of their illnesses using the water from the spring.

Our tricycle guide drove us to this place, and he said that when you drink the water, it brings miraculous happening, since it can cure minor sickness, but he said that there is a sighting of a White Lady in this place, so it is kinda mysterious place in Pagudpud.

We stopped here on our way to Aparri, Cagayan. The experience made me feel like a kid again. I was with my son when we stopped over. As far as I can remember this is my third time to come here. The first time was when I was just a kid. I liked drinking from the natural mountain water. It... More

It sits right between the boundaries of Cagayan and Ilocos. Some people drop by at this place because its water is said to be miraculous.

Nothing much to see except for few vehicles that stopover to pee in the restroom. It is along the highway. if you parked your vehicle, you create traffic in the area. Go to some place else

U can see this paraiso ni anton along the road. There is a grotto at the side of it. Very simple and very solemn.

There’s nothing much to do here but snapping few pictures, dipping your feet on the clear water and climbing few steps to reach the grotto. It's literally located beside the highway so you can just drop by there (if there are any parking spaces left near the area) and take some photos and admire the view in just 5 minutes.

The natural spring water is so refreshing. You can also say a little prayer to Mama Mary at the mini grotto on top. Just a pity that some ignorant and ill mannered people wash their feet at the stream of water.
