My first trip here wasn't that perfect because the wind is howling like a lion. I got sand all over my hair and its too cold to dip in the blue waters...Yet when I get back just a week after..the scenery is all smiles at me. The weather is warm and the dip in the cold blue water made my... More

My fave of the places we visited during our Ilocos tour. The beach is so lovely & clean. The sand is so soft & white. You'll need to rent cottages to enjoy being close to the beach & yet stay out of the sun. The zipline runs through the beach too. We stopped here for a little dip & lunch... More

It looks majestic coming off from the top of the road going there. The beach is unusually overcrowded during the recent holy week. In fact, there were no available huts already when we get there. Vehicles drove in numbers and we had even hard time getting a parking space. I've been in this place before, and I must say that... More

Oh, how time flies. 5 years ago, this was an amazing and pristine beach. Fast forward to 2017 and it is a disappointing site. There is a big hotel that completely destroyed the pristine feature of the beach. They have tacky cartoon statues that doesn't fit the theme of the beach. Also, there is now a drainage flowing from the... More

The beach is beautiful. It's very remote and there's no signal so you cannot really use your phone except for pictures. We went there March so the summer is just starting. There not much of a crowd which is a plus. I think there's only one resort in the Blue Lagoon area which is Hannah's resort. You need to pay... More

My impression of the area was fantastic. Except for one property development seems haphazard as most of the hotels seem to be just guesthouses and there was only one real hotel. Area should be more regulated to make it more pleasurable

The beach is nice. We went there during windy season so we weren't able to swim. It was a bit wavy and the wind is very distracting. White sand shoreline is not so wide and not so long. It is filled with cottages where day trippers may stay.

the lagoon probably used to be a nice and natural place but, well, with the pressure of tourism, they built an ugly huuuge hotel with giant toys from disney and marvel everywhere. They added a very long zipline right above the creek and built many concrete building on the seaside. it might fancy people looking for a amusement park, it... More

Summertime is the best time to hit the beach. Blue Lagoon can be reached by land and air. For those who want to go on a road trip from Manila up to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. It's almost 15 hours with few stops along the way. What to expect after a long tedious trip? You have a clear blue water and... More

Currents are a little bit strong so swimming is quite a challenge and those bringing kids need to be more careful. Be smart in getting some "paluto" with the locals cause some tend to overprice. In general however it's a very nice place and locals are really nice. :)
