This place is not yet overrun by tourists, so the place is still quiet and you get the feeling of calm amidst all that nature has to offer. Water is soo clean as its from the mountains.

For P25 (day rate) entrance, this isn't a bad place to stop at. The rock-boulder facade is typical of this side of the Ilocos shoreline. Good for photos but should be navigated with care by seniors and kids who may not be too agile/limber. The running water is clean but travelers need to be reminded to pick up after themselves... This river is at the end of the Patapat Viaduct, and has lots of pools you can choose from to relax in fresh water, with a view of the sea.

I've been coming to agua Grande actually for years, it's really one of pagudpuds best kept secrets, while most tourists go to the beaches and never cross the patapat bridge, they never reach agua Grande, but it's beautiful, cold spring water running down the mountain streams overflowing into a hydroelectric plant and spilling over into the resort, the water is... Aqua Grande is a resort in Ilocos Norte. You can have your picture taken at the bridge where the sea meets the river.

It is a great spot for families during summer. The water from the mountain is cold thus refreshes us from the heat of the sun. You might want to go to the areas were water flows down like a mini falls, with the strong current, the water massages your back. Take caution especially the kids and the elderly since the... More

It is simply a place where fresh and salt water meet and go into the sea... you can see fresh water from the mountains roll down the mountainside and trickle and go through bubbly streams through rocks then out to the sea... God does wonderful things.. What i didn't like were the spray paint made on the rocks..vandalisms. =(
