Last stop for Day 2 of our Ilocos tour was Kabigan Falls. It's around a 45-minute trek before you reach the wonderful view of the falls. There's a scenic view on the way, and the trail is rather wide & not too difficult to walk on. The water is so cool and refreshing.

There is a short trekking required to reach Kabigan Falls. The water is cool and view is amazing. There was a drizzle when we climbed the mountain so beware of slippery slopes and slimmy rocks.

Amazing waterfall with an astounding 112 foot drop. You trek for 30 minutes and come to this. Cool water and shallow enough for your kids to swim.

Place can be accessed thru tricycle and you will have to pay an entrance fee and a guide will take you to the falls. It is about 20 minutes hike to the falls and the scenery is peaceful. Falls was great to swim into. Clean and water was cool. Very safe to go swimming.

We first go to the lagoon then to the falls. The round trip cost 600PHP from Pagudpud for a daytrip. The walk is short (20mins) and is ok for most of people under 50 y.o. then it can be tiring because of the high level of humidity but it is mainly flat; The guide + the environmental seems mandatory but... Nature is really beautiful here in the Philippines and Kabigan Falls is a testimony. I hope it will be taken cared very well for the next generation to enjoy its beauty. You can also take a bath and enjoy its clean, fresh and cold water. You can also enjoy trekking on the side before you reached the falls.

The trek to Kabigan Falls may be a bit long (If you are walking a bit fast, you can reach the waterfalls by 20 minutes; however if you are not walking that fast, and taking pictures along the way, you may reach the destination around 30-40 minutes later). Just make sure that it is not rainy season when you go... More

When you get to the entrance, you need to register and get a guide. If it's raining, you would offer you ponchos for rent at P20. Seems weird renting one to avoid getting wet when you're on the way to a water feature but it's a long walk and you could get chilled before you get to the falls. When... More

The last time I was at Kabigan Falls was in 2009. It took about 1.5hrs to trek down carabao trails all the way back to the mountains and then up and over to the falls. 8 years later I am so impressed. The local DoT and farming village you pass through have done an absolute 1st class job of keeping... More
