A very beautiful region that is yet to be spoiled by tourism. The numerous villages in the lower region is one of the most agriculturally productive in Ladakh.

Unexpected levels of greenery and clear blue skies make a sudden appearance here after a long drive through drear ambiance. The change refreshes, inspires and charges you for further exploration of Ladakh.

During drive to Kargil from Sonamarg Suru tributaries before Zojila Pass. It comes in between 2 hills opposite side Pass. Then Suru accompanied through out long way. The Suru valley is beautiful and mesmerizing.

we passed Suru Valley, while going to Zanskar. Suru valley is, by far the most beautiful scenery, I have ever seen. The landscape is insanely beautiful and haunting..

Suru Valley is around Suru River about 250 kms from Kargil. The place is called Padum and it is south of Kargil via Sankoo and Rungdum. It should take around Five to Six hours to reach here from Kargil via Highway No. 301... More
