Its a last indian village lying in ladakh territory, superbly located on high lands... Dont have words to express the beauty of it... If u visit kargil its truly a nice place to visit.

This place is about 10-15 kms from Kargil Town. You can get a taxi for between 800-1000 bucks to take you to and fro and wait for an hour.. One can see Pakistani border establishments through a binoculars and the border village, which was deserted...More

If you are passing by Kargil then no way you could miss visiting the Hunderman village which is only 8 Kms from the town. The village gives a great view of the pakistani side across the border and with a good binoculars you can actually...More

This place is 10 km from Kargil, and Leh vehicles are not allowed here. We wanted to see this place, as this was captured by Pakistan in 1971 war and this is region under dispute

Yes, it is possible to go there anytime of the year if you are in kargil except during heavy snowfall and rains.. The place is just 8 Kms from the town and the drive is just beautiful.

The is no option of staying in Hunderman. You may only visit the place, meet the soldiers and back to Kargil.
