As a 15 year old I travelled from my home (then in Ireland), to Jersey for a family holiday. While there, we visited the German Underground Hospital. Before we went in, my Dad took a photo of Mom, my brother and I. We are all...More

What a clear and present way of telling a harrowing and desperate story of invasion and occupation! The whole experience from start to finish was well executed (sorry about the pun) in chronological order and presented in a way that was easy to comprehend for...More

This was a lovely experience and gave insight to the difficulties facing the islanders during the time of the occupation. It was a lovely experience, Very well laid out with lots of things to see and do, followed by a lovely drink and cake,

This is my second visit to the Tunnels, it is a good hour and a half to two hours of incredible information, displays and a very emotional experience.. If you are genuinely interested in history then this is a must see.

The war tunnels are definitely worth a visit, entrance fee was £13, which I considered quite good value. We did not opt for the audio sets and personally didn’t feel I needed it. There is a huge amount of written information within the displays, so...More

It's like going through WWII history around this island. It's informative and educational. It's the best thing we have done so far on the island.

The historical importance of the hospital and tunnels to occupancy sadly were point of fact though interesting. Cannot say if all details were 100% correct, yet taken at face value showed the type of life and death of the enslaved Russian and European people's. Plus...More

Wasn’t sure whether to visit, very glad we did, this took an hour longer than anticipated, allow 2 hours. Young children will tire of what they may call “boring museum stuff for oldies” but we were captivated (in our 50’s) very thought provoking, interpretation excellent.

It depends on their ages as it is fairly cold down there. The older the children the better.

No you won’t. You wouldn’t know they were tunnels as such. They are light, airy but cool. An excellent museum of German occupation.
