I visit Castle Park at least once a week and use the cafe each time. The staff cannot do enough for you. The art gallery is well worth a visit and they hold many interesting events on a regular basis.

The artwork changes regularly and is mostly by local artists. There are prices on most of the paintings and they are good value.

I went to view the animal art exhibition. The centre is situated in its own grounds. It has a car park and a lovely cafe with outdoor seating area. Great little sun trap. Market day on Thursday. Well worth a visit.

We took our nephews to this park on the recommendation of a friend. We had a really good time, and the boys had a blast on the small parks. Free parking meant that the day didn’t cost us anything.
