This is an enigmatic collection that includes statuary, paintings, fossils, various rocks and stuffed animals: in particular a lot of rocks and fossils. Entry is free, which is just as well. We enjoyed our visit and spent a good couple of hours there.

Great fossil collection and variety of stuffed animals. The art work at the top was great too, particularly the works that show Semur in history. Not many though. Only a small museum but worth a visit. Plus it is free !

The palaeontology collection is impressive, and the cabinets are historical monuments in themselves. It is a trip back in time, in a beautiful medieval village.

It's an art, zoology, history and geology museum. Beautiful sculptures and wonderful paintings. What a pity that they don't have lithographs of the paintings, we wanted very much to buy some. In the zoology department there are huge snail fossils, plenty of stuffed and preserved...More
