FORE!

Play at Hamersley quite a bit. Recently it has been a bit rough with a lot of reticulation work and then coring.
Should be better for it though when fully recovered.
A good local course, narrow but that encourages you to be straight.
This is one of the many local public courses that we are very lucky to have.
Cheers.

well maintained public course

A hidden Gem and great value for money, well maintained and challenging,
A pleasure to play there. My only complaint is there is hardly ever any soap to wash your hands when you go to the toilet and this seems to be a ongoing issue.

Great public golf course

great public golf course that is looked after and has some good challenging holes. The food shop could do with an update out of the 80's but the course is great to play and staff friendly

Good for the casual golfer. Convenient locaiton

This is a well maintained public course that is easily accessible and offers good value for money.

Not for golf snobs. Its a good course with some length but not the most challenging you'll ever play. Also, if you are the type of person to roll your eyes if you seen denim or 100+ players on a course - stay away. The course if packed with average players enjoying a fun day out with mates,

If you live north of the river its a good spot for a game before work or an alternative to Wembley.

There is also a practice range.

My lovely local
I've been thrashing little white pills around this course for 20 years. It's a great little public course although there's no water to speak of for those who like sinking their shots in the lake. Clubhouse could do with an upgrade but the staff are friendly and parking plentiful.

nice tranquil course

lovely shady setting for driving range, older course, very scenic and shady, not long at all but a decent challenge.

Driving range is not wide enough, can fill up easily, pro-shop is small and does not carry the same fitting systems or anywhere near the stock of Marangaroo or Carramar, but still a very nice location to have a hit and drink afterwards in licensed area.

Very good condition of the course
Jun 2014 • Friends
This is a public course and at present the fairways and greens are in very good condition. You will need to book as it gets very busy especially at the weekends. The ladies change rooms and toilets need upgrading. The kangaroos have not been seen on the course for a while.

very open and short in lenght. No problems with losing balls. It is a very open course with no real problems. The only real problem is getting onto the course.

Kangaroos on the golf course
May 2013 • Solo
The last time I played golf at Hamersley there were kangaroos in 2-3 locations. It is great golf course for guys who like the 4 and 5 par holes. Good clubhouse. Ample parking. You will need to book your game though. It is a popular course.
