Spent the afternoon travelling round the lake with hubby on my birthday and stopped off at the restaurant at the main tourist centre point for a fabulous lunch - see my review of the restaurant for this - we spent time waking round the lake...More
I biked around the lake but couldn't find a place with trees nearby the water. So I didn't stopped as it was to hot and didn't want to be burned.
It has a nice mountainbike track, so maybe next time, it is worth trying.

Visiting my daughter in Lodeve, we spent a day here with her and her three children. We took a picnic so didn't use any facilities there, but it's a beautiful spot in lovely surroundings. Swimming, windsurfing and boating all looked fun.
We were at the beach at Les Vailhes on lake salagou . It's really non commercial and great for the children too with swimming, boating, etc. There's not much shade so take an umbrella in the hot months. We all had a great time, especially...More

We had hoped to get a simple "Jarbon Blanc" a plain ham sandwich and a beer for the two of us, whilst...More
