If, like me, you are using public transport to get to Kintaikyo Bridge, this is an important commute. It connects the bridge to either of the train stations (Iwakuni or Shin-Iwakuni). Do take a picture of the bus schedule because it is not terribly regular.

There are two train stations in Iwakuni and from both of them you can reach the Kintaikyo bridge. Buses leave the regular station every 30 minutes or so and take 1o minutes to reach the bridge. Just come out of Iwakuni Station and the blue...More

Bus from the Iwakuni Station to Kintai bridge.On the way to the bridge the bus stopped almost every bus stop. But on the way back the bus went directly from the bridge to the station.I don't know why but don't worry,It doesn't make much difference.
