If you don't visit this monastery while visiting Kalymnos you're at a loss. Saint Savvas protects the island and if you visit and read more into his story you will be truly touched. A must do activity.

The view over the port the city and the Island of Kos super transport is needed rent a car was very good price 25€ per day

Set up on the hillside overlooking Pothia. This is an ideal place to take in the scenery. Not to forget that this is a place of worship so you really must go into the church and admire the paintings. Take a walk up the steps...More
