Deservedly named the most beautiful lake in Uganda one must also take into account the fascinating landscape with mountains, volcanoes and farmed hills around the lake

We start off from Kampala early morning and by 10 o’clock we were in Fortportal town then went on through kasese and upto the high lands of kigezi it’s very green with fascinating landscapes and cold weather and worm welcoming people

We stayed on a hill overlooking the lake and it was absolutely beautiful. Sunset over the lake was amazing, and you can take trips out on the lake as well. There are tons of islands you can go around and some you can walk around....More

The distance is 450 kms and it takes between 6 - 8hrs depending on a good drive and traffic on the road.
