Overview
More
Edirisa's Canoe Trekking is a combination of dugout canoeing and hiking around Lake Bunyonyi and throughout southwestern Uganda, as far away from touristy areas as humanly possible. We have been organising such treks since 2005, providing travellers with a striking blend of culture and action. From 2 hours to 7 days, starting from $15pp.

The staff are wonderful. The treks and canoeing in depth and if you stay you are allowed to take a canoe out on your own. Beautiful place Don't miss the talk by Miha the founder! Lisa and Daniel Stern

Edirisia was one of the quietest places I visited in Uganda. The organization is doing very friendly, nice with helpfully manager. View from the terraces on Lake Bunyonyi, a cold beer, you can not miss.

Really, what could be better: gliding in hand made canoes, carved by artisans out of a single tree past little lake side villages with cheerful children and terraced farms reaching into the sky. The Gorilla Highlands region deserves to be in the same conversation as...More

We did Mama Bena's Bonus Tour and loved it! Our guide Owen was excellent. We couldn't have been happier with our experience canoeing, hiking as well as learning about the area and people. Edirisa is a wonderful organization, you will be glad you picked them!
