We hiked up here but you can drive if you wish. Really the attraction is the excellent coastal views, along the cliffs one way and over towards Es Pujols the other. Because of villa development the tower is encroached upon to some extent. The tower itself is squat, big and rather boring - there are no explanatory notes and you can't go inside. We enjoyed the walk up from the town but this is hardly a major tourist attraction.

A beautiful place to visit in the midst of the dry and sandy journey. The old light house is located on a cliff where you can see the beautiful blue calm sea and the waves splashing the cliff and the seagulls lurking around . A seldom place to visit!!

One of the defensive towers, build by the Romanians in ancient times. Here again you have that very warm vacation feeling. Clear blue sky and water, beautiful yachts below. It's a nice place as you can shoot beautiful panorama's of the environment. However the way to get here exists out of sand and stones, not an official road.

It is a short walk (take one hour up and down) from Es Pujols. Part of the path is paved, part is dusty road. You have nice view on Es Pujols bay and on la Mola part of the island.

Usually people visit Cap de Barbaria because of its well-known lighthouse. Only a few people notice Torre de sa Punta Prima, a well preserved defence tower 500m away from it (if you are looking at the lighthouse, the tower is on your left-hand side). The tower can only be reach on foot but the walk is definitely worthy also because of the wonderful panorama you'll get on the central part of Formentera and on the lighthouse when going back. As I've said, the tower is well preserved, but it is not possible to enter it.
