You'll get a great view from atop the Lighthouse of the River and the Ocean so you can see the layout of where you are. This was one of the stop overs on our way to Atins.

Short stop to climb the lighthouse built in 1906. Climb the 160 steps to the top for a wonderful view. The building is not used as a lighthouse anymore.

The lighthouse has an amazing view - but the community nearby also has its attractions: my attention was drawn by the icecream shop and the bar near the river - which has different types of cachaças to sell.
