Entertaining and informative tour of the brewery. We thoroughly enjoyed it (and the beer tasting afterwards!) I would recommend the Old Peculiar IPA on draft!

Great tour at Theakston’s Brewery yesterday. Our guide was enthusiastic and informative, without his audience “switching off”. Was nice to have the option at the end for either a pint, 2 halves or 3 quarts. Great atmosphere in the pub too. Thank you all at...More

Quite a poor tour, the young lady showing us around didn't really engage the group very well, she was polite enough but just didn't appear to have any enthusiasm, more over she was parroting off her well rehearsed facts but didn't make it interesting to...More

We visited on Saturday and had to wait quite a while for a tour. It was no hardship, we visited the ‘Black Bull in Paradise’, the tap at the side of the brewery. We were able to buy 1/3’s and sampled most beers on offer....More

I liked this brewery as it was less contrived than some I have visited, quiet laid back bar and shop was friendly and priced competitively. Dogs allowed in the bar which was a good sign.

Apologies for the late reply. There’s lots of nearby parking as it’s a short walk from the market place. I don’t think children are allowed on the brewery tours but you would need to ring and ask the question. Staff are very... More

Around 30-45 mins. Then the tasting you can do at your own leisure straight after the tour.
