Beautiful views - worth the hike
Aug 2021
The only way to reach this is by boat or hiking (relatively easy but not recommended when it's over 105 degrees - it was brutal). The only problem is there are HUGE rocks that you need to climb over to actually access the beach - super dangerous so we ended up just hiking back to the sand beach where we came from (Cala Zimmari).

Quite beach
Oct 2020 • Couples
Went to this beach during off season and there was no one there but my husband and I. It was perfect. To get to this beach you have to walk up a lot of stairs but it was worth it. The views are very pretty. Definitely wear sneakers!

Worth the trail
Aug 2020 • Couples
It's a breathtaking place especially during sunset. It's a really cosy beach although hard to reach. However it's worth walking uphill to enjoy the sight

Beautiful spot
Sep 2019
We were on a boat trip on our way to the Stromboli Volcano and stopped at Panarea for a swim first and then for lunch.
The beach wasn't that impressive but the Sicilian Blue of the sea and the sun were there, to make of this moment a heaven's one.
Strongly recommended

Great anchorage
Jul 2019 • Friends
In settled weather this is a good place to anchor your boat and go expoloring the fascinating rock formations in an area cordoned off from power craft.

The best bay in the Aeolian Islands
Aug 2018 • Business
This is a fantastic place, always with clean water, where you can see the basaltic rocks falling into the sea. A fantastic place for snorkeling. Underwater it is a treasure of biodiversity, with corals and several living species. One of the side of the bay has the ruins of a prehistorical village.

A tough trek but worth every second
May 2019 • Couples
Hidden coves, beautiful nature, and a walk there scented by jasmine, lemon trees, and olives. Few places in the world can compete with this, even if parts of the journey there are tough and can only be done by foot.

Jewel of the Sea
May 2018
This small island was beautiful. It had walking trails with the serene surroundings, which also led to ruins that were on the edge of cliffs.. It had gorgeous views of Stromboli. We walked everywhere, no cars are used for transportation. The restaurants were very good, there were no crowds, it was a beautiful quiet place to visit.

Wall of zombies (jellyfish)
Jul 2018 • Couples
The scenery at the beach is breathtakingly beautiful and it's well worth the hassle. The problem starts when one wants to have a swim at this beautiful location as one can experience swarming broods of jellyfish. Maybe it's the season or maybe it's the global warming, but the sad fact was that solely there were about a dozen of washed ashore jellyfish with twice as many waiting for the unexpecting swimmers. If you want to swim or snorkel in the area, you are better off with renting a boat and trying further from the shore.
