On the 5th June 2018 we travelled from Positano to Herculaneum by car. Even though we were delayed by traffic, Dr.Luciano met us at our taxi and helped us with entry tickets and made sure we were comfortable before taking us around the historic site....More

Met with guide for a two hour for myself and my son. Decided to tour Herculaneum before Pompeii to get an understanding of Roman life in both towns. Definitely worth taking a guided tour as the guide was very knowledgeable about the way of life...More

After Pompei that I absolutely adored, Herculaneum seemed less rich in frescoes and photo opportunities. Maybe it's best to do a guided visit. I liked it, but preferred Pompei.
