We booked ahead online and opted for the Penguins Plus option, rather than the basic package. This was a great choice as you get to see the penguins close up as they walk up from the beach. A brilliant evening. Would do this again.

simply beautiful and majestic. The little penguins are a curious creature and the best place to watch them is underground viewing area. It is worth paying extra to enter the underground area as you see the penguins up-close through the glass. There is a live...More

We were taken here by a mob called Posh Penguins (a private tour operator that we would certainly recommend) as part of our phillip island tour. We really liked the way it was set up. We had upgraded tickets as part of our tour package,...More

My definition of a fruitful viewing experience depends on how many penguins I have seen. Since I described it as fruitful, yes, I have seen a lot, fortunately on a winter July evening. I bought a general viewing ticket and did not arrive early to...More

Cuteness overload at the penguin parade. We joined a tour group called posh penguins who were excellent. We choose their express tour which meant we only did the parade itself. Their tours include the upgraded ticket which is certainly worth it. But however you get...More

I’ve been twice. 1st time bought general admission. Today went for Penguin Plus. Absolute waste of time and extremely disappointing for our overseas guests. Too many people even though supposed to be limited numbers but worst of all not many penguins! Will not bother with...More

We had some family come and visit us from Canada and it raised the perennial question - where do you take guests when when they come and visit?!?! After much conversation and deliberation, we all decided to go and see the penguins (even I hadn’t...More

Splashed out and purchased Penguins Plus tickets around $52.50 per adult. General Admission is a great option but paying extra meant we had a better experience (so close we could smell the fish the Penguins had been feasting on!) with less people. Only downside was...More

It’s a lovely place to visit. Currently undergoing a renovation so entrance not looking great. It was wet and cold and the tide was very high. However, we saw lots of wildlife up around the boardwalks.
