We always enjoy a stopover here in our campervan. The planting continues with native shrubs and there are hot showers available for $2. You can always find a good spot except maybe in peak summer when it would be more crowded.

It’s a beautiful beach. During the week you can be lucky and it’s all yours. Great wildlife encounters possible (birds, mammals like seals and dolphins), if conditions are right you can surf towards Waipu Cove. Great beach break. Very clean long sandy beach, great for...More

Took my horse riding on the beach. Was awesome! Nice and flat highly recommend. Only thing I'd suggest is better adequate fencing between golf club and beach.

The vistas from this beach are amazing. Little blo karts abound in windy weather and you are assured of a wonderful walk along a great beach!!

Sometimes you wonder. When I crossed the dunes and first laid eye on this beach I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I have read reviews of beaches that would compare as a landfill to this beach and got five stars. What on...More

Staying at DOC campsite as our first night after collecting campervan in Auckland. Beach - lovely windswept white sand beach that stretches for miles and miles. We had it pretty much all to ourselves. Great place to put feet up and relax. No facilities. DOC...More

In the middle of 22 kilometres of white sand that comprises Bream Bay, Uretiti Beach is a safe, pleasant place to relax and enjoy a break. Never crowded, but rarely empty of people, there is plenty of room for solitary sunbathing if that is your...More
