It's a great place where we get to see the Kashi culture and the lifestyle they led. I visited the place with family and stayed at Saimika, which was a pleasurable stay.

Monoliths are knows as remembering ancestors. In Meghalaya many places you can see the monoliths, especially in Jayantia hills. Something peculiar for outside world people.

These monoliths are found in many places and particularly around Cherrapunjee. There is no need to visit any particular place. We were told these are in memory of warriors/important people of the past.

These monoliths can found at various places. However, at some places these giant monoliths are concentrated. At the sites there is not much description available and that is why many tourist don't find them of much interest.
