It was a good 15minutes of going down the uneven steps. Once there it was magical,Mysterious and mesmerizing. It automatically brought a meditative feeling. The calm and still waters before the fall and a seat of the rock was all I could have asked for.

Wakaba Falls have 2 steps, one is bigger and another is smaller. Both looks great!! Though one need to climb down a bit and specially after experiencing Nohkalikai Falls and Nohsngithiang Falls (7 Sisters Waterfall), it might not seem worthy.

Another finest waterfall, after Nohkalikai in Sohra.. Little trekking of almost 400 steps would require to see beauty of this falls (Actually there are two falls, one on the halfway, and real gem at the last).... But its worth the pain... Steps are not that...More

You can view these falls standing on top of the falls. From the road you have to go down quite a few steps to reach the falls. You can stand in the middle of the flowing water and see the fall. Again a beautiful view...More

When I visited in December this falls was all dried up...I do not blame the visiting spot but I recommend not to visit it during November-February....I am not sure about March and further...

Cherrapunjee has so many waterfalls and Wakaba falls has its own beauty. The cascade, the surrounding natural beauty makes the place beautiful stopover while visiting the hill station.
