very nice waterfall. Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Its height is 1115 feet. The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth.

Will never forget seeing the falls in its full glory, and then seeing it slowly being engulfed by huge low hanging clouds in the next. For the uninitiated, Cherrapunjee is a land of mystical clouds!

Must visit to experience one of the best waterfalls amidst the clouds... the fall is approx 200 meters beneath the view point and completely surrounded by the clouds at most of the times. Feels like you are above the clouds.

This is an awesome place to visti and probably best in Meghalaya. There and local villages selling craft items and also locally grown fruits like banana, pineapple and couple of other fruits. Eating these was a good experience

Kudos to Meghalaya Tourism to develop this and amazing natural single plunge waterfall. Tip walk down the stairs a little ahead of the viewpoint for some good views.
