Red hill was a battle site during WWII but it is really just a spot on the road with two monuments - one India Peace garden and one from the Japanese. Might be worth a 2 minute stop.

Red Hill is a small monument between the mountains and along with the highway, highlighting the war between the Japanese and Indians. It is a mutual tribute by the Japanese government and ours towards the lost lives. Well maintained by Japanese Government .
