We were group of divers and went to safari trip of two weeks. Boat had problems in firs hour. They fixed it but we were late with start so we arrived to Malapascua during the night. However worst part on the boat is that it does not have fresh water to wash hands before meals. Toilet does not have flush water, no light and no sink to wash hands. In total it is very dirty. When we complained to the JC (owner) he put it on the funny side but no improvements happened, and at the end it is not funny at all because they should provide some service. Crew is outstanding and really try to please all guests. Food was great considering that they cook on really poor kitchen. This boat is definitely not for few day cruises and safari, half day trip is a max to consider if you can survive terrible toilet and lack of water. Not to recommend at all.

Miss Ve, Jojo and Karla are great dive professionals. Thanks for your arrangement and your companionship. Miss Ve is a very beautiful dive instructor and she speaks very clear English. It's just easy to catch up with what she says. Jojo is excellent in doing underwater photography and a big-eye spotter, and I enjoyed the night dive with him. Karla is a lovely warm lady and she is willing to help whenever you need... I do think about returning to dive here again! By the way, please please please get the air-con changed and the shower hopes to be made stronger!!! A strong shower ends a day of diving perfectly. Felino, thanks for your breakfast prepared for me at 02:30.

Managed to book an island hopping tour the day before. Our first choice tour (to Pandanon) was full so we settled for Caohangan, which was the more expensive option, instead. The staff were very helpful over email and on the phone so that was a definite positive.
The snorkelling at the two sites - Hilutungan and Nalusuan - were decent, although the spot at Hilutungan was very crowded with many tourists who could barely snorkel and they were stepping all over the coral (which was heartbreaking to see). The stop at Caohangan was nice as we got to see a village on the island and got to try some interesting (though pretty pricey) seafood.
Three crew members took care of about 11 of us and they were very watchful. The BBQ lunch which we had on the boat was delicious and I would say the highlight of the trip.
We requested (and paid quite a bit) for the two-way car transfer as our hotel was quite far off from the main road, and we read some reviews about the difficulties of getting a Grab from the shop. But two other families who had gone on the trip with us didn't have any difficulties getting Grab rides out. We realised that the shop had called for a Grab for our transfer back to the hotel, too (something we could have done on our own) so we regretted our decision a little.
I wish we could have been told about the 200m walk on the flats to the boat due to the low tide in the morning - we would have been better prepared with booties instead of slippers which kept getting stuck in the wet sand. We had to keep an eye out for sea urchins too (the water was crystal clear so that wasn't too difficult to do), but we could see how some older folks or those not used to being out at sea were having difficulties with the walk.

Booked due to reasonable price but then we were asked to pay php1500 for hotel pick up from a resort about 10 minutes from the office. We decided to book a Grab which saved us php1200. Once there the staff were friendly and helpful. Once we were ready we then had to walk 200m across mud flats with many sea urchins which took quite while-felt like we were crossing a minefield. Once on the boat it transpired that one of the boats was broken and this meant that we had to join a bigger boat and it was about an hour before we left. That said the staff onboard clearly love what they do and were lots of fun. The stop offs were ok. I would question if the scuba equipment was properly cleaned between tours as we had our sets taken off us between five sites meaning we definitely had someone else’s snorkel at the 2nd dive site. Lunch was an excellent bbq! We had a good day but there were some issues which irritated us

Today Mactan picked me up from my hotel on time and we all did a team preview. We had the best snorkeling imaginable,so many beautiful fish.
Then I got to chat with PONNET the local tour guide. The nicest kindest person I have ever met. She is a good ambassador to Mactan and the Philippines generally. Memories like these stay with you forever
Thank you Ponnet

Our island hopping tour was an awesome day, we saw lots of different beautiful fish, and a few larger ones as well, the first snorkeling site had lots of beautiful coral as well. The guides and boat were great- professional, comfortable, and safe. To get to the boat we had to walk out a bit due to low tide and I wish I had brought booties or water shoes vs my sandals. The lunch was delicious, especially the mangos. We used grab car to arrive and depart, to get a car on the way back to a couple or tries.

We had such a fantastic time with our friends from Fun&Sun!! Could not have imagined a better company to get certified with - I highly recommend to anyone. Ve was a great teacher who made us all confident divers, and the crew went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I hope to make it back one day soon!
P.s. don’t go without the BBQ lunch on the boat - it’s delicious!

Great introduction to diving through our friends at Fun&Sun. They opened a new world for us and did it an extremely friendly and professional way. A big thank you to Sito, Ve and the two Rene’s. They formed us into Open Water Divers! Hope to be back soon.

Wow! What a great diving company. The resort is clean, organized, professional and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The diving equipment was in impeccable condition and the staff helped to make sure everything fit just right. The dive master led us on two great drivers around Talima, making sure to point out all of the cool wild life he spotted. Unfortunately these dive locations aren’t great for large marine life, but you can still see barracuda/cool starfish/ sea snakes and other exciting animals. The lunch made for us was easily our favorite meal we had eaten in all of the Philippines consisting of grilled meats, squid, fresh fruit and hanging rice. Highly recommend if you’re looking to dive in the area!

We contacted JC from January 2019 and went Diving on 31 March. The partner JC replied to our email patiently with very detailed information.
The dive centre is in a great location just opposite to a 5 start hotel. The equipment is very new and clean. The guide gave clear instructions before each dive and take care of us during the dives too!
There is a female DM who can speak Mandarin that helped us a lot too.
we will definitely dive with Fun&Sun again in Cebu~
