Good swimming area and lots of white sand. There are good views all around of Masbate Island on one side and Ticao Island on the other. Some good underwater sights if you know where to look.

Buntod for me was amazing but get disappointed when I saw that the bar was on high tide. I don’t expect that the sandbar was already covered up with water. You have to wait till 4 pm for water to subside. Buntod offers several activities...More

The place is near Masbate city. Easily accessed. We were so amazed by how beautiful the sand bar is. You can swim below the cottages, no need to worry getting sun burnt.

One of the best tourist destination and a must.go spot in Masbate City. Its just a 15minutes ride to the island. Just bring food for your lunch and always follow rules such as its boundary due to sudden depth of water

Bring food, charcoal, (cook here) water and a hat and 1000+Pesos for the boat and entry - Not really a sanctuary because everyone is fishing. Howerver...This is a beautiful spot and worth bringing a camera

This is a sandbar about 15 minutes or less away from Masbate City. You need to hire a boat for php500 (5pax). You can do beach bumming, kayaking, or snorkeling (no beautiful corals but there are clams and a lot of fish). I'm definitely giving...More
