Big car park with a loo next to the beach and a cafe with ice cream shop. The beach is sandy with rocky areas at both ends where we went rock pooling. The beach slopes down gently so it’s safe for the kids to go swimming.

Wow what a fantastic beach! Free car-park with clean loos, short walk down a paved ramped slope straight onto lovely soft sand. We brought our own picnic, although there is a cafe. With 2 primary school age children we headed straight for the rocks and looking for stranded fish and crabs. I honestly have never seen so many shells on one beach hence our nick name! We loved paddling in the sea and building sandcastles. We noticed families flying kites, playing ball games and games of cricket. We also were visited by a group of horse riders. We loved this beach.

We enjoyed this beach as there was a lot more room to play sports than some of the other smaller (and very beautiful) beaches nearby. The sea was a good temperature for swimming and very shallow and safe for young children to paddle although you may have to walk a long way out to get to it.

This is a lovely beach wide and sandy beach, we were there when the tide was out and able to have fun climbing the rocks at the far end of the beach to see the mussel farm on the other side. At the start of July the beach was quite quiet.

The beach is beautiful. The sand is a great quality. There is free parking and free showers and toilets etc. The restaurant is great with very well kept toilets (probably for customers only). We have been to this beach twice and all the family enjoyed it.

This beach has it all, flat soft sand, stunning views and plenty of shells to collect. There are also toilets nearby and ample parking. There is a restaurant nearby but we did not have a chance to visit it. An easy and lovely way to spend hours with the children.

We visited the beech on a beautiful summer day and the children loved building sand castles and paddling in the sea. Not much by way of refreshments except for one restaurant which was not cheap so getting just ice creams or a snack was not going to happen really. Apart from that it was a clean beach and popular so get there early say 10.30 to 11am to ensure a parking space nearby!

This was our favourite beach in Saint-Cast. Very picturesque and not crowded. We always found a space in the car park next to the beach so it was easy to take all the paraphernalia we needed for a day. There are rock pools when the tide goes out and lots of pretty shells along the shore.
