Well where to start, the staff are all very welcoming especially the owner Jamie he's a legend! It's worth going to Barbados just to meet him. the bar is clean and a great size plenty of room inside on the dance floor or out on the deck no better place to enjoy a beer or two or three. The live locally sourced entertainment is just a+ absolutely quality! All in all a fantastic bar! Oh yeah the buffalo fries and chicken wings are the bomb! 😍

Jamie and his fantastic team have something really special going on at the Jamm Inn. Every night there is live music on the deck from 9- reggae, acoustic guitar, jazz and rock which always brings out a crowd and is the busiest and best place in the Gap. They do delicious burgers to go with your sundowner and stay open late until 2 or 3 every night. I spend several nights here each trip and friends who are visiting always love it. Thursday night is jazz night with the amazing NJO3+ which brings out a great crowd of completely mixed ages all loving the music and great vibe.

So I arrived with my family of 10 in Barbados from Canada the previous day and we decide to go out to eat. Walking down the street past many restaurants, I was amused by the name and the motto of this restaurant "Booze, Beats and Burgers". We moved on but for some reason I was drawn in by the motto and we all decided to go back. We sat outside and although not fancy, it was comfortable, music to too loud, not crowded. We were greeted by a smile, service was excellent, our waitress was very good, funny and very helpful. Selection was burger oriented, which makes sense, and was very easy to select. The burgers were top notch, very good, in fact I must say this was the best burger I have ever had, and I've had a lot. The chef/cook, who greeted us after the meal, was very good, knows how to prepare a great burger. I had the royal with cheese, a perfect combination of beef and blue cheese, very tasty. Priced right, I will definitely be coming back every time I visit barbados. Compared to a highly rated Thai restaurant we were 10 times more satisfied with the service and food. Give it a try, I did, and I wasn't disappointed!

I was in The Old Jamm Inn few weeks ago with a group of friends(10 people). We were sitting on our table and having drinks when the manager (obviously irritated) just came and pull out our table. To make things worse when my friend asked him why did he do that, he was rude and almost even physically attacked him. I tried to cool down the situation and approached the manager to explain him that I did similar job like him in my life and that's no way to treat guests, when he started yelling on me.
Well, that tourists had 3 rounds of drinks that night in your bar and would have at least 3 more for sure.. But since he was rude, we left and never came back although we were staying in Barbados for 2 more weeks. I hope that he will learn something from this experience, since with this kind of behavior soon no one will be in this bar and he will have nothing to manage.
The thing i liked was the band who was really good.

Just got back from Barbados and I have to tell you what a great time we had on The Gap, particularly at The Old Jamm Inn. The free live music on the outside deck was brilliant and different every time we went. Our particular favourites were the Jazz night, and the Rock night, we were dancing in the isles! Egged on no doubt by the lovely friendly staff and the great rum punches.
Can't wait to go back.......

Live music great drinks, this place seemed to be a bit more lively than the other spots at the gap, cool spot. A must go if you're staying in the south side. The owner Jamie is super cool!!!

Very cool on sundays they have live reggae music playing outside. Nice terrasse. Inside there is a room where they play soca-calypso music to dance to.

You know you're onto a winner when you walk into a pub and an old King Crimson record is plastered up on the wall!

Great food, amazing friendly staff and brilliant live music. Would be a first port of call if we ever made it back to Barbados

Last night we walked past 'The Old Jamm Inn' on our way to a din reservation. Two ladies were in the Stairwell and one said 'Come in for a drink' .. we said "Thank you .. Maybe a bit later " and kept walking. The lady in a red top, started shouting "THANK YOU !!" over and over very loudly.. misunderstanding, we went back and asked her if she was speaking to us as we were totally unsure what had happened .. she came flying down the steps screaming that we were rude.. and "go along and enjoy your holiday".. shouting at us while standing 1 foot away .. we both asked their names and the screaming continued .. A bit frightened, and unsure what had happened, we started to walked away.. Two people from the next establishment came over to us and apologized for her behaviour on the behalf of 'Bajans'.
Needless to say, we did not return and will not go in for a drink.. ever. This was such an upsetting and frightening experience.

This place gets really crowded with tourists and locals. The drinks were good/strong and the staff was very friendly. Live music on the weekends. PS the entire strip is very very quiet during the day, plan a trip to the beach or the city during the day.
