Spectacular.
Was really looking forward to paddle, but now banned , so trip advisor needs to update its information about that.

I visited 15 years ago, out of tourist season, and have fond memories of the boardwalks, views and paddling in the waterfall at the end. The waterfalls are still as stunning as I remembered but it's a lot busier, very expensive for 200KN and then they charge for the toilets! Food and drink is crazy prices so def pack a picnic. Taking the boat from Skradin was worth it. Visit the NP office near the waterfront and public parking and buy boat tickets 10KN each way (plus your entry 200KN). We hoped to swim in the waterfall and understand why they're stopped it but felt a little disappointed as on their leaflet and website there was no mention that swimming is no longer allowed.

Absolutely beautiful scenery. A must visit if you’re in the area. Try to go early in the morning before everyone else arrives to get the best photos.

Surely, there are no similar places on earth and it's great experience to be there. Even more, it's a pity that pure organisation of this national park (central sale of highly priced tickets, hardly care by staff within the park areas, limited connections between staged waterfalls, etc.)

The boat trip and the waterfalls. And the scenery is incredible. You do need a few hours to walk all the way round.

We went out of season (end of April) and honestly this was the highlight of our trip. We arrived around 11am, you get the option of either paying for the bus or walking. As we’re both 28 & 30 we thought were walk. BIG MISTAKE. Walking down was fine, apart from the walk being rocks/stones it was slippery in places but honestly the walk back up (very high incline) was tiring. I would advise everyone to get the bus, walking up incline in the heat and walking on wobbly stones was not a good combination. Generally thought I was going to faint.
Overall, lovely place to visit as we arrived at 11am we decided to do the 4 hour boat excursion to another two islands. Personally I found very worth while going to. You got to spend 30 minutes on one island and 1.5 on another. When we arrived back we then walked around the national park where it was fully boarded and being out of season there was no queues, we was able to walk around it in 40/50 minutes.
Most beautiful place ever visited. Highly recommend going out of season as it’s beautiful without all the hassle of others.

The waterfalls are stunning. But there are crowds of people in the prettiest areas, at least in July when we went there. Boat ride was a great bonus as previously we thought we would need to walk all the way from Skradin. We came by bus, it was a very short walk to get to the boat departure place. As others have said, bring your food and water. There was also at least one place to refill water bottles (for free).

We went in October, when it's half the summer price (100kn, £11.50)- for that price, it was really good, though not sure there's 200kn worth of value there. The walk is nice and there are one or two places you can go off the path (more would be nice, and signpost them better- we walked 5 minutes down to a lake viewpoint where there was no-one). We got boat from Skradin and then walked back to there- walk back was beautiful but hard work.
Definitely bring own food, as food is 2-3 times normal Croatian prices. That way you can ignore all the sellers. And there are free toilets, just not at the start- if coming from Skradin, they are after all the steps up

The reality is different from guides. First of all, there really is only one waterfall, Skradinski Buk, the lowest one. We did not find any in Roski Slap, and the upper one was closed. The trail from Lozovac to Buk is nice, but not an easy one. The place for bathing in Roski Slap is without any amenities, you have to leave your car very far. The entrance price is frantic. I expressively DO NOT RECOMMEND visiting it from Split.

How do you get to the national park from Split?
Please inform me as to which toilet is free to use and which require payment. Thanks

All of them require payment and have long queues!!!
Ciao a tutti!
Grazie
Hi! Can we use the baby stroller on the educational trail around the Skradinski Buk waterfall (1900 m)? It is suitable for a five years old child by walk?
To reach the area with restaurant and souvenir shop, we have to take some trail?
We want to reach the Krka monastery (Kistanje) by car, maybe after the visit to the Skradinski Buk waterfall. It Is necessary to buy a specific ticket? Can we find the ticket office near to the monastery or in another park's area? It is possible to visit only the monastery?
Thank You!

Hi! You can use baby stroller without problems, I think that your son could walk with you too. The souvenir and restaurant area is closed or the park and ticket office. From this point to the trail you can use the bus.
I didn’t visit the monastery, I can’t reply to those questions...
I hope my reply is useful for you. I wish you a nice visit

What is the best way from Zadar to Krka National Park? I have not much luck for the last few days and seemed to get lost quite often.

We stayed at Apartment Slavica - family owned business - lovely people. This is at Lozavac which is close to three entrances to the park. Where you are at Zadar is about an hours drive away. Take the 424 to Zumunik and then exit at E65 towards Split/Sibenik. The driving is easy and directions good.

We had a rented car and used google maps on the phone as already suggested , we took a no toll route on the way there for a more scenic drive, we parked at side of road car park and walked through Skradin upto the river, really nice cafe up there called Niko’s

Hi. It is 58 km from Trogir by car . You take road E 65 from Trogir to Lozovac ( entrance to the Krka park). If you wish to go by bus you can take a day tour from Split that is 31 km from Trogir. From Split till Lozovac ( Krka) you have 87 km.
I wish you a nice visit to Krka waterfalls.
Max.
