Don’t be put off by the shirt sharp climb because the view of the Gruissan circulade, surrounding sea and salt water étangs is spectacular! And it’s free - don’t miss it!

Not for the faint hearted - this climb is steep! Which actually makes the top even more breath taking. Plus its for free....how often do you find that!

This [free] visit was more interesting than we expected. The panoramic views are superb and we took some great photos. There is also a small display with the history of Gruissan which we found very interesting.

Free entry to this tower gives stunning views over the town to the sea. It's a bit of a hike to the top but once there it is well worth the effort. At the bottom there is a nature reserve where you can see wild...More

We climbed the tower to see our holiday accommodation (rue Hoche) from this vantage. Great free access and lots of well translated signs. Not suitable if you have issues with stairs or trouble on uneven ground though

This is a great place to visit while exploring Gruissan. It's free and doesn't take long - but there is a nice view from the top. Try the path around it about half way up too.

A very short walk through the winding narrow streets, to the pathway that leads up to the ruins. A few minutes climbing the old steps, brings you to the top with a fantastic view of the city, the Mediterranean, and the marina.

Lovely climb. Stunning view. The whole town is built around the centrally located tour. Clean and free. A fascinating look back into history
