I have never been more proud as an Aklanon when I saw the collections of sir Soviet's Talibong. Sir Soviet warmly accommodated us and gave valuable knowledge about the history. As well as the process of making it and the carvings on each sheath left me in awe. Salute to the farmers who dedicated their lives in making talibongs.

    Musyon sa Pinanubli Talibong Museum
The place was amazing, I was able to witness the various kinds of talibong that were originated from Aklan. The deets of every talibong narrates story and plays a great role in our culture. There were also antique objects that was preserve a long time ago which feels nostalgic. If you have time to visit in Aklan, why not try to visit Pinanubli Talibong Museum.

Kudos to the Artisan/Panday who skillfully crafts this unique talibong from the blade up to its handle. If you want to witness one of the best craft that only Aklan can offer, musyon eon eota sa Pinanubli Talibong Museum at Lolo Manings Farm. Special thanks to Sir Soviet, for letting us witness the one of the oldest Aklanon craft. Mabuhay!✨

The place is full of preserved old things and different kinds of talibong that showcasing the culture of the Aklanon's. It is a best experience to witness the different creations and to see the culture and the hardwork of the Aklanon to make a talibong on their own.

Brilliant collection of historical blades of Aklan or commonly known as "Talibong". It's within the heart of the town of Kalibo and only a 5-10 minute drive from the Kalibo Airport.

The museum was filled with amazing swords in every corner of the room; there was even a replica of Lapu-Lapu's sword! We also heard stories of our great Aklanon ancestor's triumphs, as well as the origins of how the swords were made. Mr. Soviet Dela Cruz was also kind enough to let us interview him for our school project. He was a genuine person, and he even encourages young Aklanons to explore more of our own culture, which is the talibong, the pamana of our late ancestors. Overall, it was a great experience to see the great works of our local artisans and hear our own Aklanon history.
