This greenish blue lake is covered with ice until June,after which it is used as a route destination in Amarnath Yatra.It is the next stoppage from Chandeswari which is situated about 11 km far from the lake.

I mean that sheshnag lake is source of river lidder covering all pahalgham and local life of valleys , Mountains and high altitude snow and lake is view , you always wanna see if you are a nature lover , you will fall in love...More

It is situated on a very high altitude and is on the way to amarnath yatra and is also very good place sit by and enjoy the moment

It's quite far. So if you're not used to walk, I would avoid going to Sheshnag lake with a child and a senior. A reasonable amount of fitness is necessary.
