Journey and Destination... Divine! Burning Kiln Winery is located on the north shore of Lake Erie overlooking the beautiful UNESCO World Biosphere of Long Point, the largest freshwater sand spit in the world. The Winery features award winning using the appassimento method in repurposed tobacco kilns. The Patio is open seasonally and in the summer 2015 will again feature "David's Restaurant on Tour" local food with a twist from David's of Dover Coast under the direction of Chef Scott McRae. From the May Long weekend through Labour Day, the Winery is open Sunday and Monday from 11 am to 6 pm, and Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm. Reservations for the patio are suggested. Wine tours during the summer are available on Saturdays and Sundays. Year round, wine tasting is available without a reservation. The winery is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm for the rest of the year.

Nice wines. Good service. There was a group ahead of us on a tour. A staff member came and provided one to one service, explaining the wines and providing samples. Worth stopping in.
