An absolutely lovely beach right below the salt lakes nice and quite with clean water away from the busy traffic and noises! Relax!

We weren’t lucky enough to see much wildlife so this was mainly a large smelly lake. It’s free though so worth a 10 minute visit if you’re in the area.

We hired bikes to tour round the lake, but the rutted and sandy tracks made riding these tricky in places. The lake is not vast, so walking would probably be a better option, also you pass a couple of excellent restaurants on the way there....More

Really don't know what the fuss is about. We walked up, stood and looked at basically a big filthy pond for 5 minutes and the surrounding derelict buildings then left. No flamingos or local wildlife as pictured/advertised.

Getting there is a bit of a walk from the beach in Tigaki you have to run through the few nudists on your way they don't bother you ,looks like the American Salt Flats on a small scale.

We took in the lake whilst carving up the beach roads in a hired dune buggy as you come upon it the lake itself there is a very strange not particularly nice aroma but on most days is teaming with many beautiful species of wading...More

The views are stunning and the area was very quiet and a lovely place to walk and view the flamingos.

We've been to Tigaki several times and the salt lake is easily accessible from several roads and the sea front. I you hire a bike it's a nice place to ride around or just walk if you fancy a stroll! During late summer the water...More

The experience was ruined by all the garbage. It's a shame because the view from the lake is lovely. Kos is a beautiful island, but not well looked after--plastic everywhere and the shops are giving out plastic bags like sweets.

Sorry I can't say, as I was there in mid May. There were none to be seen then.
