- frimoussetteGironde, France402 contributionsTo doVery beautiful place (especially with the sun) which you reach after going down steps in the middle of a forest full of trees, plants and flowers. There are 3 different levels with attractions like rope, raft...by paying a few pesos. The water is magnificent in color and transparent and its temperature is cool because it comes from the mountains. We went there at the opening so fewer people. Attraction we recommendVisited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 3, 2024
- Lucas IAsia217 contributionsTouristy but coolVery very touristy and packed with people, the falls are still beautiful, and house some cool rope swings, from 5 to 8 metres of height. Definately worth visiting if you want to swim or use the rope swings. You can also get cool videos from the workers, such as the ones you would see on TikTok and Instagram. Entry fee is 50 pesos, and if you want to use the rope swings, its another 50 pesos (for as long as you want).Visited May 2024Traveled soloWritten June 1, 2024
- Andy McMuffinDublin, Ireland328 contributionsChasing waterfalls!Lovely spot and good fun diving off the falls and off the rope swings. As everywhere in the ‘Feelippines’, fees on fees. So fee for each swing for unlimited jumps, even after you pay the fee to enter the waterfall area! We had a nice time here all the same! Advise to go during the week, as we got lucky with it being relatively quiet!Visited June 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten June 2, 2024

This three layered falls has a mysterious vibes that will keep you wondering as you visit. The ambiance is calm and peaceful. You can swim on your own risk but there are people that will facilitate you in times of danger. Moreover, they offer different activities like tarzan swing and etc.
To get there you must drive your own car or ride a motorcycle to get there. It is not advisable for elderly to visit the place due to the slope road as the falls is situated at the bottom.
If you visit this place, it is better to be early to avoid crowds and to take a lot of photos. The entrance fee is 20 pesos per person and you can also ask for a guide ( optional). They also have toilet, shower and dressing rooms with different fees. Lastly, there is a restaurant at the entrance.

We arrived here late in the afternoon, around 415pm and they close at 5pm. We rushed through the entrance (I forgot how much the fee was, about 60 pesos for 2 people maybe). A guide (Andro) was there to assist us for no fee (tip is welcomed). I did not mind the guide because we were rushing and needed the help to quickly explore the entire place. But i understand that if you want to explore the place on your own and stay for 5 hours, will the guide be necessary? Or what if it's your nth time visiting? You may leave a comment for that.
I love how beautiful the green turquoise water of Cambugahay Falls. It's honestly the most beautiful falls I've seen so far. I love that there's a lot of shallow pools you can stay in which will be perfect for kids.
We did the rope jumps (20pesos unlimited per person) and had a blast. I did 3 jumps only since it's almost closing time. I also love that we arrived there a little late because we got great photos without people in it.
Will be coming back next year, for sure!

Easily accessible by scooter and entry fee is 20 pesos, and parking is also 10 pesos. The waterfall itself is beautiful, especially on a nice day. The only downside is the amount of people, and the unbearable instagram shoots that happen. No one sits and relaxes as it’s all about getting the best photo these days. Staff there are friendly. We stayed for an hour or so and then left due to the ridiculous amount of photos being taken. We were sat on a rock and someone even came up and told us to move because they wanted to get a picture on that exact rock. That was the final straw. A real shame as it’s a beautiful place.

Great jumping in pools 3, 5 and 8 meters by swinging in ropes, swimming in and under waterfalls.
Steep stairs, slippery and sharp rocks. Bathing-shoes is a must! Lots if fun with 6, 11 and 15 year old children.

There is a minimal fee to enter the waterfalls that you pay by the stairs where aome vendors are selling snacks and water. There is also a parking fee.
The stairs going down the waterfalls are steep so be very careful. Quite high too! You'll be rewarded by it beauty though.
It's a three tier waterfalls with clean blue waters. The upper part, which is inaccessible to the public also got some small tiers.
The bamboo raft and tarzan jumps comes with a fee. The water is really refreshing!
There are some grilled banana vendors around the falls and some places to sit for a fee. There aren't places to change or any toilet ao be aware of that.

We spent a fun couple of hours at the waterfalls. Beautiful blue water.
We arrived with our scooter, there is parking for them just at the entrance to the falls, parking fee is going by donations, so you pick how much you want to pay, and those guys really watch over the scooters.
The entrance fee is normally 10 php, but we got there early so no one was there, we got in for free.
There are 3 Tarzan swings, different heights, 50 php for unlimited swings. They are really fun, I was scared before the first swing but you just have to go and after that it was just all fun. Then you can stand under the smaller falls to get a nice shoulder / back massage and just lounge in the water.
There are some vendors there, I think they open around 9 to buy some food.
We got there around 7:30/8:00 and it wasn't crowded at all, so I would suggest to go early. It's definitely worth a visit!

It’s a little theme-parky, but the overall impression was really fantastic. There are gentle falls, shallow to deep pools and some really fun rope swings for those so inclined. Entry is only ten pesos per person, which represents amazing value. For those who want to do the rope swings, it is also good value at 50 pesos unlimited. We arrived early afternoon and the place was a bit crowded; it might be better earlier.

Been at Cambugahay falls last December 8, 2022 and it has been a good one. There was a php30 environmental fee. The trek from the entrance has 135 steps and a little bit slippery during that day. The falls has three parts. The first part of the falls is where the famous tarzan swing happens. For php50, you can swing and jump from the cliff to the pristine waters. The second part of the falls was just fine but the 3rd part was where you can find the falls with water cascading the basin, There are some tourists swimming during that day. for it was a non-working holiday during that day. There's a "balsa" which can be rented so that anyone can pose for picturesreally near the falls. Pay php50 for the balsa and another php50 for the local taking trickshots for your instagram or fb pages. The ascend from the falls to the entrance is somewhat tiring so bring water with you. Definitely Cambugahay falls is a must-visit tourist destination in Siquijor.

You have to pay to park, you have to pay to enter park, you have to pay for a mandatory guide. At the end of the day, prepare to be underwhelmed. Just a murky swimming hole with a couple small waterfalls. Any tour group makes a mandatory stop here, we stopped on our scooter - which is easily accessible.

We were really disappointed of this place. First we were asked for a “parking fee” and then we were offered a guide who wanted money to guide us down the (about 50) stairs. Down the stairs we found a lot of people in the waterfalls pool and the area surrounded by built up fun equipment.

Hello! What are the top 3 accommodation options (do you think) are there in this town? I look forward to reading your reply soon. Thank you!

Cocogrove stands out for sure and isn’t actually that expensive, we stayed there for two days just to relax. It is huge, but doesn’t feel crowded and their housereef is super for snorkeling.
If you want views and brand new accomodation head to Jungle Jacks. It’s a little up the mountain but well worth it for the stunning views. They have great food too.

Hi!
Is it a must to get a guide to the falls? Is it hard to find? Also, would you know if there is an area to park and how much the fee is?
Thanks!

If you are doing a day tour of Siquijor, it will be part of a day tour.
If you have a map and your own transport, it will not be particularly hard to find. It is not far out of Lazi.
There is no actual carpark. You jut pull off to the side of the road. It costs something P25 to park. There is a sign saying you are at the falls. It also says the parking fee.
There are no fees to access the falls.
From where you park, there are about 140 steps down to the falls. Where the stairs come out is not one end of the falls or the other. The falls are on multiple levels. At the bottom of the stairs, there are several levels to the left going up and several levels to the right going down.
I didn't know about a cave until I read a review today. So for little gems like that, it will be worthwhile having a local guide, otherwise, no guide needed.
